Where Have I Been

To answer that question is simple. I have been sick. So sick that I ended up with an abscess from being sick. I was to that my head was so infected with a bacterial infection they were amazed I could function. For it to get as bad as it was, I have had this crap for months. That’s why I was always feeling bad. I am on my third round of antibiotics, my body hates it.
I will be done with the Meds this weekend! FINALLY!

We walked Tuesday evening. 2.0 miles slow as all get out but it was spool awesome to get back out there. I am hoping that the smoke doesn’t move in overnight so I can walk again in the am. I am pretty much restarting but I don’t care. I have missed it. I feel like a slug. I will not complain when I am tired or sore. I will always remember this, when I could not do anything, wishing I could.

I have been reading everyones blogs and I didn’t comment or anything cause I was so upset with the fact I couldn’t get out the door. I go for my check up for the I/D I had on the abscess that form on my face. As soon as the doctor open it, my head had already started to clear up, my ears pop and I could hear. Now swelling is almost gone, I have energy back, not quite prime but I am getting close. I haven’t felt this good in a while.

Thanks for calling me out mgrene. You always seem to do that when I need it! My goal is hopefully duathlon May 29th I think here at Tradewinds. Just to get back out there and see where my numbers are going to be. I can’t wait. Now more than ever since I can breathe.

Oh yeah, I have seen a specialist for asthma and I have just ole asthma. Not copd. Really bad numbers but I can breathe now.

I have to make amends with my trainer, and goal long term is the half iron distance duathlon. Its in Nov.

That’s where I have been. I will get better again at posting.

Glad to see you’re still feeling that competitive urge! I know how I missed running when I couldn’t do it for 18 months back in 2009-2010 because of my bad hip. I don’t take the ability for granted anymore!

I am glad to hear that you are getting better.
Get well and let the rest fall into place!

Thank goodness that you’re starting to feel better. I know how awful it is to be stuck unable to do what you want to do.

Restarting is fine – it’s just a matter of time and some patience and you’ll be back where you want to be.

Glad to hear you have asthma and not copd too!
